Annually, 9.7 million children under the age of five years and 500,000 women die, particularly in high mortality countries of Africa and Asia. The vast majority of these deaths are preventable and many are related to micronutrient deficiencies. The Micronutrient Forum is an international catalyst and convener for sharing experience and insights relevant to the control of micronutrient deficiencies and their consequences around the world.

     2009 A2Z Child Blindness Program Partners Meeting Report

Child Blindness Partners Meeting Report Now Available

The partner’s meeting enabled grantees to come together, discuss, and reflect upon their programs. Meeting objectives included reviewing grantee successes, challenges, and lessons learned, exploring identified gaps in expanding service delivery, and identifying emerging priority areas and potential way forward for the USAID/A2Z Child Blindness Program.
