Latin America
The third and last workshop was hosted by the Instituto Regional de Oftalmologie (IRO) in Trujillo, Peru on July 13-14, 2011. There were 20 attendees representing nine organizations in the following seven countries: Bolivia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru and the United States. The workshop was carried out primarily in Spanish. The IRO is the regional ophthalmologic training center in Northern Peru and served as the local partner organization for ORBIS International under an A2Z Child Blindness Cycle V Service Delivery Grant.
