Newborn Vitamin A Supplementation
Every year approximately 7 million infants die before reaching one year of age, with the majority of deaths occurring during the first 6 months of life. Newborn vitamin A supplementation is a promising intervention to reduce infant mortality in Southern Asia. The A2Z NVAS toolkit includes a FAQ sheet, key references, guidelines for testing delivery models, and a program update.
